This blog is used for tracking goals, training, projects, and accomplishments. I’m working on putting information on what we use at Yantis Independent School District and keep track of what we are doing with our technology. I also started working on putting some budget items that will keep our systems running and help to make these systems run more efficiently for the up coming years. • Spring 2011:
• New Bus Surveillance System with computer management.  (Replaced one camera system with a two camera system, GPS, and MPH.)
  
• New HP BL460c G6 Blade Server for TxEIS Software.  (Replaced RSCCC Software.)
• Rebuilt HP BL460c for Time Clock System.  (Was used for RSCCC Software.)

• Fall 2010:
• New UPS for classroom computer systems and networking equipment.

• Summer 2010:
• New HP Proliant DL180 G6 File Server for District.
  
• Rebuilt HP Proliant ML350 Inventory and Imaging Server for District.

• Fall 2009:
• New UPS(Battery/Power Management) system for Servers
• Move to Online RosettaStone Version 3 (English and Spanish)
• Move from Exchange Email to Google Apps Educational Edition (Email, Calendar, Docs, and Sites)

• Summer 2009:
• Upgrade Surveillance System with all new IP Cameras and Server for Software and Video/Audio Storage.
• Reconstruction of the Distance Learning Classroom.
• Reconstruction of the Elementary Computer Lab.
• Upgrade Waterford System with a new server.

• 4-20-09: Open Office 3.0 will be installing on all computers that get restarted after 4-20-09

• 4-17-09: Rosetta Stone Spanish will be installing on all computers that get restarted after 4-17-09.

• 4-8-09: RSCCC Update – Hot Fix 477

• 4-7-09: New Page added to the Site – Accomplishments for the 2008 – 2009 year.

• 4-7-09: New Item in the Buget for 2009-2010.

• 4-3-09: Adobe Reader 9.1.0 will be installing on all computers and will take the place of Adobe Reader 8.1.2.  This will happen when your computer gets restarted after 4-3-09.
